Description: MARTIN GUERRE, Souvenir Program, Prince Edward Theatre, London, 11/96. 34 pages. The musical opened in London on 07/10/96 and ran for 675 performances. Inside are production photos, cast and production list, synopsis and background on the show. The cast includes Iain Glen, Juliette Canton, Jerome Pradon, Matt Rawle, Ann Emery, Michael Matus, Sheila Reid, Julia Sutton, Susan Jane Tanner, Martin Turner and Rebecca Lock. Music by Claude-Michel Schonberg, lyrics by Edward Hardy and book by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg (from the original French text by Alain Boublil). Additional lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer and Alain Boublil. Shortly after opening, the book and lyrics were worked on to help clarify the story. Stephen Clark was credited later so the song list radically changed from July to November. Directed by Declan Donnellan and choreographed by Bob Avian.
