Description: Martin 1930 OM-28, Vintage Pre-War Acoustic Guitar, Adirondack Spruce Top, Rosewood Back & Sides, Herringbone Binding, w/CaseRare Pre-War Martin, considered by many to be the acme of Martin tone and design, limited production years from 1929-33. In excellent condition, big sound with rich overtones. The rosewood back and sides have a particularly fine grain pattern. This guitar was re-finished in the '70s by famed guitarsmith and author Hideo Kamimoto. He repaired cracks in the top, back, and sides, re-lacquered it, and also replaced the original bridge and tuners. The original frets were replaced with period-correct bar frets by renowned luthier Alan Perlman and have zero use. There is some slight finish wear, a little dimple by the neck on the treble side top, and a small scratch on the neck heel, all pictured. Includes a non-original vintage case.
