Description: Up for sale is a MARKLIN HO, # 37682 ELEKTRIC LOKOMOTIVE BE 6/8 III "CROCODILE" Digital/MFX/Sound. One of the best, heaviest and most sturdy Marklin Electric locomotives ever made. Besides its intricate metal design, it features analog and digital operation including multiple light functions and sound functions using a Marklin mobile station to control it digitally. It includes acceleration and braking delay which can be individually adjusted. A powerful brushless Motor eliminates any kind of servicing. The built in MFX Decoder eliminates programming the locomotive by automatically communicating with your digital Marklin controller. This replica of the legendary CE 6/8 III and later BE 6/8 III is built to last a long time. The locomotive comes in a better than excellent condition. There is a tiny rub mark on the side of the main cabin which can only be seen under certain light conditions and a magnifying device. It's visible on one of my pictures.Please see my high-quality pictures for further details. I tested it on my analog and digital trainset, and it did run smooth and silent including multiple directional light functions and sound functions (see instructions). The locomotive is very powerful and incredibly detailed. This Locomotive was in service in Germany, Swiss and Austria from 1910 to 1960. I have seen it in action in the Swiss Alps on the "St. Gotthard" Route. Incredible! The Locomotive comes without a box but with instructions.
