We take no shortcuts and for example use expansion valves that can adjust the refrigerant modulation compared to the fixed modulation of inexpensive capillary tubes. Our condensers are the most robust in the industry and basically never fail unless you have an extreme electrolysis situation. We have no need to experiment with alternate materials! The FM16R (16,500BTUs) measures 21.5" long X 14.6" wide. 13.5" high and can be a top or side discharge. 115 or 220 volt, top or side discharge. We have no need to experiment with alternative condenser materials! Titanium is NOT a suitable metal for marine applications unless you have controlled water flow 24/7/365. Dormant water will result in excessive marine growth - titanium has no antimicrobial properties unlike copper that has been used in the marine industry for CENTURIES. (Don't fix what ain't broke!) Muriatic acid should not be used to clean a condenser because it's so toxic for the environment. Phosphoric acid does the same job and is environmentally friendly.
