Bottom spine corner cracked from being "bumped" (see close-up photo of corner). This book has had one owner only, and has been handled with great care. The photo shoot was commissioned by Vogue magazine in late June 1962, taking place over three daily sessions, just six weeks before her tragic death.........Bert Stern published The Complete Last Sitting in a limited edition of 2000 copies in 1982. The book included many of the over 2,500 images that Stern had shot, including contact sheets with images Monroe had disliked and crossed out. ......The book is tastefully and elegantly done (no split images!!!), with gorgeous photos (fashion, portrait, and semi-nude studies) of Marilyn Monroe during her last few weeks.
