Description: Marigaux English Horn / Cor Anglais EXCELLENT PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Marigaux has long been known to make some of the finest oboes and English horns that the world has ever seen, and this is a fine example of a Marigaux English horn. This English horn does not have a serial number or model number, so it is difficult to date even to the decade with certainty. This is not a standard conservatory system English Horn. It does not have left F, low Bb, or the third octave key. The half hole key positioning on this instrument has a somewhat awkward reach, requiring a longer hand stretch. That being said, the rest of the key system fingers the same as your standard modern English horn and plays easily, with the mechanism exceptions listed previously. This instrument is excellent condition. It has been completely overhauled by our staff and has complete key work and no body modifications. All new pads and corks.
