Description: Here is a beautiful Marblehead Pottery decorated humidor or covered jar with a two color incised design of overlapping rings in dark olive against a speckled matte green ground. The interior is greenish gloss. It measures 4 1/8 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with only a tiny rim nick touched up and no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs. Marked with the firm's die-stamped MP and ship mark and an M over T for Maude Milner and Sarah Tutt. The pottery was founded in Massachusetts by Dr Herbert Hall, run by Arthur Baggs, and dates to about 1915. A fine piece of New England Arts & Crafts art pottery.
