SCMantic Stage 5 Clutch Kits feature a cerametallic / cerametallic clutch plate without dampening and a solid centre hub (SC) for greatly improved torque capacity; designed for very limited street use and targeted for predominately motorsport use. Therefore driveability is not a consideration but instead outright torque capacity is the focus.All Mantic clutch kits have a 20% increase in clamp load to further increase torque capacity. Plus all kits include an SG Iron pressure plate with 3x the burst strength of traditional clutch kits to ensure they can handle extreme centrifugal forces of performance applications.The SC option is a rigid clutch plate with cerametallic buttons rivetted to the disc. The cerametallic buttons increase the torque capacity of the clutch without requiring an increase in clutch size.The cerametallic material has a high coefficient of friction. This provides a very positive engagement and is either in or out.
