Description: Ground shipping with UPS/FedEx is free for the contiguous United States. Lamps to top of sockets: 25.75"Lamps to top of finials: 31.75"Weight (not including cords or shades): 8 lbs. 10 oz., 8 lbs. 7 oz.Shades: 6" tall, 4" wide at top, 8" wide at bottom They have been tested to make sure they work, and are set for one-way bulbs. Each one only has an inline switch on the cord. These buffet lamps are stunning, but they don't provide much light. They're really more like a sculptural element that provides a little accent light. Each one is made from bronze from the finial down to the top of the base, which is set on tessellated stone. The bronze is a dark color with a slight verdigris finish, and the stone is a dark green color. The shades are original and classic Maitland Smith, with a leather exterior and faux mica interior. One shad has minimal craquelure, and the other has a lot of craquelure. Most of the lamps look great, but one has a break at the bottom of the harp. The harp easily holds the weight of the shade, and the break is hidden from view with the shade on. It could be glued and barely noticed. I do want to point out that the harp is at an angle, which causes the shade to be at an angle. The metal is thick, and too heavy duty for me to bend back. Aside from the harp snafu, the rest only has minimal signs of age. Despite being a matching pair, they have different cords and plugs. One cord is longer (9' 6"), and the other has a shorter cord (5' 7") and the copper wire inside that has turned green.
