Perhaps they liked the 5th color of M&Ms the best and they got the plate to show that. Or just maybe they drove an BMW M5, and this was what they wanted. Make it your own with whatever meaning you can come up with! Plate is in great condition, besides a small warp and tiny rust on the bottom screw holes. The plate has also been pushed in via 2 larger circles to the outsides of the top screw holes forming a dimple on the inside and a line connecting them. Luckily if you wanted to hammer that out you could do so quite easily as it doesn't impact the letters or the outside border so nothing will be crushed in the doing so.
