Description: Madame Alexander 14" Margot Ballerina DollCissy Head? w/Costume c.1950's A rather prized MA doll in less than desirable condition. Mechanism works fine, eyes are also fine, but the paint is bleached and the hair is pretty bad. It looks like some hair in the back may be missing or that may just be what they did for the bun hair-do this doll originally had.The great physical condition otherwise though, makes it a good candidate for restoration, or as an art doll (the big forehead and sparkly green eyes makes it look like Japanese Anime!).The costume is intact and other than some dirt and probably some fading, it is good. Snaps, bow present as well as all of the rhinestones.This appears to me to be a Cissy head. Tough for me to tell without the paint. (Note: I'm told now by an experienced doll person that this is the 1954 Margot Ballerina version and it's not the Cissy head. She mentioned that Cissy has an adult body.) farshelftop
