Description: Vietnam War era M1-C paratrooper helmet with painted insignia of the 71st Infantry BDE (Airborne), 36th Infantry Division on each side. Helmet started life as a World War II fixed bale with dimple strikes. Helmet was later refitted with M1-C paratrooper chinstraps and a 1965 dated jump liner, then reissued. Last name inside of pot. The liner has light splotch camouflage applied in different colors. Overall excellent condition and a difficult to find helmet.
