Description: M1 Helmet (WW2shell With Modern Liner) With Original WW2 Net She’ll is original front seam WW2, has been recorded and painted. Shell is in great shape and has had aftermarket straps added on. Net is a nice original WW2 net with the mildew protectant surplus smell. The liner is modern later type but is great to wear for re-enacting as it is strong and will hold up to use and unable to tell with it being worn. During the repaint and recorlking there was a 2nd Ranger ghosting on the back that was added. Overall a very solid and presentable helmet for any occasion. Please look at pictures carefully and ask any questions before bidding. On a side note, I officially took this helmet over to Normandy, so in a cool technical sense it has been there. Please note there is a good size tear in the chin strap but it has held up well and should be good the way it is sitting on helmet. It probably can be sewn and repaired if you want to use it.
