Description: This listing is for Lynyrd Skynyrd's biggest hit, FREEBIRD released by MCA Records. This is a different version than the LP release that was only sent out to Disc Jockeys at local radio stations to play. This is the ONLY WAY to get the MONO version and also the "edited" version as they were never commercially released to the general public. PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING ZOOM ALL PHOTOS as THE ITEM THAT YOU SEE PICTURED will be THE ITEM THAT YOU'LL RECEIVE. The white label on one side of the 45 has a WATER STAIN, as SHOWN IN PHOTOS. The other label side is OK if you're wanting it for framing and to display. The vinyl whenever turned under a bright light shows a few light hairlines and a couple of light paper scuffs. I did play BOTH SIDES BEFORE LISTING and as you know the lead intro to the song isn't jammin' out from the start and due to years of storage/shelf shuffling it does have some background noises on both sides until th music does start to jam out so take all of this in mind BEFORE hitting "Buy It Now" as if you're wanting a VG+++ to NM- copy of this 45..... THIS AIN'T IT It's playable and definitely DISPLAYABLE but that's it. These pop up for sale every now and then on here so if you're looking for something that grades BETTER....WAIT for one to be listed. These aren't SUPER RARE but most are now in Skynyrd Fans collections and are getting Hard-To-Find in a VG+++ to NM- condition. The last copy that I had that was VG+++ and had never been played before I acquired it sold for $85.00 + shipping. Shipping is via USPS Media Mail w/Tracking.
