More than 25 artist-craftsmen made up the Haney Studio along with talented seamstresses in four different villages in Hungary. Vermont knitters handloom Lynn’s knitted designs. Each character starts with Lynn Haney sculpting the original head (and sometimes hands) in clay. Trained and experience studio painters provide the unique facial features. Seamstresses cut velvet, wool, and brocades. European braids, trims, and furs are carefully sewn-on to provide a distinct personality. All costumes are hand-crafted. Beards and wigs are made by hand from mohair, wools, and other natural fibers. Hats, cloaks, and capes are added to complete the image for each character. A beautiful piece to warm your Halloween holiday. This piece has been stored in a climate-controlled smoke free environment and comes in it’s original box.
