Description: Here's a beautiful Ludwig 10x14" six-lug rack tom from the early '70s in the Oyster Blue (Bowling Ball) finish. Complete and all-original, it has the legendary 3-ply shell with reinforcing hoops and clear-lacquered interior. Bearing edges are pristine, shell is in round, no modifications of any kind, with only the usual little scuffs and scrapes from over fifty years of use. About the worst I can see is a little bit of finish bubbly at the seam near the edges (see photo). Heads are by Aquarian, with lots of life left in them: Texture Coated Hi-Frequency on top, smooth white Hi-Frequency underneath.
