Description: Lovely Elliott Of London Mahogany Bracket / Mantel Clock In Working Order. This lovely Elliott of London mantel clock has a Mahogany case with a fabulous moulding to the top. This top then leads to the square body of the case. The base then has a further shaped moulding and is finished by four brass “bun” feet. The dial is then silvered, with a silvered chapter ring set out in black Roman numerals with smaller Arabic numerals marking out the minutes. The corners of the dial then each have a lovely brass “maidens head” spandril. The centre of the dial is then signed “Elliott London” as well as the chapter ring being signed “MADE IN ENGLAND”. Finally the dial is finished by two lovely shaped hands and the retailers signature “Mappin & Webb Ltd”. The movement is then wound and adjusted from the back. It is ticking away as it should and in good working order. The bottom of the case is then stamped “3005 12 80”. It measures approximately: - 5.75” / 14.5cm Tall. - 5” / 12.75cm Wide. - 2.75” / 7cm Deep.
