Description: This shoebox is filled with love letters from 1906, each enclosed in an envelope stamped with a US Postal stamp. These came out of the ephemera collection I have been listing and I’m not sure if he kept these for the stamps or letters. Some have not even been opened. They are all to the same woman from her husband I’m assuming. The letters are a beautiful portrayal of the love and emotions that were exchanged between two people in the early 1900s. The letters are in good condition and are a testament to the art of letter writing in an era past. He had these in a bin with stamps so I decided to post in that category for that reason. I personally think the letters are way cooler but I don’t know anything about stamps. The few that I pulled out are written on this very thin tissue type paper as shown in the last photo
