You wouldn't want to read a lot of them to children today, because they just wouldn't have a point a reference--the pictures wouldn't even make sense. BUT SOME OF THEM ARE TIMELESS. These books have good words to learn, great animals to learn about, and lovely sentiments, even if they are sometimes dated and not really relatable. These books have a little of that musty (but not moldy) smell, but NOT a smell like gramma's basement. They've just been on a shelf for many years. They're an estate find. Tears at staples are shown. One 1/2" tear on last page. ESPECIALLY FROM THOMAS by Dorothy Haas, Whitman Tell-A-Tale VGUC, unique: IT HAS PHOTOS AND ILLUSTRATIONS! I don't know that I've ever seen anything quite like it.
