Cosmetic Grading Grade Description C6—Used Excellent - Perfect condition, with no cosmetic imperfections - No scratches, scuffs, or faded coating - No signs of use whatsoever - Like-new, open-box C5—Used Very Good - Nearly perfect condition - Signs of light use - Dust or fingerprints present - Light signs of wear from usage C4—Used Good - Used condition - Minor Scratches and Scuffs - May have 1 or 2 hairline cracks that are not easily noticeable - Small chips in body/housing is ok. No broken plastic C3—Used Fair - Heavily used condition - Housing/body damage that does not impede normal functions - Chipped corner, deep scratches, scuffs, faded coating on body, palm rest, trackpad, etc. - More than reasonable wear and tear - Scratches or scuffs on the lcd/screen, but no LCD cracks Functional Grading Grade Description F4—Hardware Functional - Fully functional - All hardware is tested manually or with diagnostic software and verified working. - No missing or damaged components or parts. - Software not loaded or configured. - No hardware defects. - Data sanitized or free of data storage media.
