Description: This pattern was made in the 1940s in Selb, Bavaria. This set of 6 bread and butter plates is hand painted hand has gold rims which have not worn off over the last 80 years. Franz Heinrich began decorating porcelain in Bavaria in 1896 and started his own company in Selb in 1901. It was one of the largest porcelain manufacturers in Germany. Production stopped during WWII but started up again after the war, so this pattern was made in the late 1940s. I look over and clean every item by hand. All of my items are vintage, and almost all have been used by other people at some point. The items I sell all have indications that they have been used or worn. I take as much care as possible to alert potential buyers as to any condition that is beyond used, such as chips, cracks, or tears. Sometimes I miss things, if that happens please let me know, and I will do everything I can to make it right.
