Two articles illustrated by renowned caricaturist Al Hirshfeld: Cary Grant and "They Love to Sing", Dinah Shore, Jo Stafford & Beryl Davis. Film advertisements: Esther Williams and Peter Lawford in "On an Island With You" for Lux soap, Ginger Rogers & Cornel Wilde in "It Had to Be You", Lana Turner in "Green Dolphin Street" for Mint Cocktail Gum, Ingrid Bergman and Charles Boyer in "Arch of Triumph" and more. Interesting advertisements: Jantzen swimwear with pin-ups, Lane Hope Chest with vintage lovers, music motif clothes by Gadabout, hand painted compacts with vintage motifs by Rex and more. One back cover model was the 1947 Rose Queen Norma Christopher. Condition:Acceptable condition, see photos. Generally fair/poor, well-loved and worn condition with some chipping of spine, some tears and taped tears, edgewear, some staining, age toning and discolorations. 10/47 back cover & end page missing. 7/48 - pg 7-8 missing and bonus issue has some cut outs.
