Description: This stunning Loetz Cobalt Papillion vase, crafted in Czechoslovakia in the early 20th century, features strong blue hues and a unique abstract design. This small goblet shaped vase stands approximately 6" tall with a 3" diameter at the rim. The hand-blown glass production technique and handmade finishing make this original piece a true work of art. The vase stands at 6 inches tall and is 3 inches wide, with a weight of .75 pounds. The vase's backstamp is impressed and it is marked with an oval on the base. This is the later style Loetz Papillon, c. 1925. The applied base is marked with the Loetz oval Czechoslovakia import mark indicating post WWI and pre WWII production. It would make a beautiful addition to any collection of vintage or antique pottery and glassware.
