HISTORY This vintage cast iron pan was fully restored. Striped down to bare metal using a lye bath. All rust was removed using electrolysis. Seasoning – Five layers of flax seed oil were applied and baked on after each coat. This forms a natural, easy-release cooking surface and helps prevent the pan from rusting. Unlike today’s cookware, this piece will literally last a lifetime. Versatility – It can be used over gas, electric and wood stoves and over campfires.
