Description: 1949 re-release of 1941 Warner Bros military biography of Alvin York, a poor farmer from Tennessee who became one of the most celebrated hero soldiers of WWI, starring Gary Cooper in one of his best roles. Walter Brennan, Joan Leslie, June Lockhart, George Tobias co-star. Note that the images and graphic design of the 1941 original and 1949 re-release cards seem to be exactly the same except the 1949 cards are now numbered and have NSS 49/201 on the bottom right corner.
