Description: Livingston's Honor Bright 10 seeds This is a truly amazing heirloom tomato. There are so many reasons that this particular variety is special. The Foliage starts out a almost fluorescent green, and dims to yellow as the plant matures, from a distance, with its yellow foliage, it may look unhealthy, but once you get close, you can see that the leaves are perfectly healthy, just "yellow". The stages and colors fruit progresses through are quite unique as well. These tomatoes start out a pale green, turn white with speckled shoulders, shortly thereafter turning yellow, orange and finishing a bright red. The Honor bright was first found in a field of Livingston's "Stone" tomatoes in 1894. By 1897 Alexander Livingston had succeeded in stabilizing the variety, and offered seeds for sale in the A. W. Livingston seed catalog that year. Don't miss this opportunity to grow this nearly forgotten, but truly amazing heirloom tomato. You will be glad you did! and by all means, save some seed! Trade some over the backyard fence, give some to friends, help us to keep these guys around for our grandchildren and theirs to enjoy as well. Mad River Seeds: Wholesome Seeds, Humans who CARE.
