Description: LIONEL (RARE) BROWN SPECKLED TYPE Z 250-WATT, REBUILT TRANSFORMER, NEW ROLLERS, CORD, LIGHT BULBS, RED & GREEN LENSES, RUNS 4 TRAINS CLEANED, SERVICED & TESTED LIKE NEW PLUS PLUS OPERATING COND. LIONEL ONE POSTWAR BROWN SPECKLED RECONDITIONED TRANSFORMER made from 1945-1947, will run Four trains and/and many accessories. It has been completely dissembled, cleaned in and out, serviced, and has no chips, cracks, or breaks, lite scratches on case, lite etching on base, baseplate has original paint, as shown in pictures and is in Like New Plus Plus Operating Condition. The Top Frame Assembly, coil assembly, upper and lower gear assembly have all been removed and cleaned. I aligned all the laminations correctly, which Lionel didn't always do at the factory, I added one lamination, to make a proper fit, so you have a low hum or a no hum transformer. I installed Four New Carbon Rollers and Rivets. The circuit breaker was checked and working. The wiring has been re-soldered and checked. I installed a new power cord, with L on plug, 8 new binding post nuts, I installed New larger screw in Red and Green Lenses, two New Light Bulbs. The Original faceplate is Very Good Condition, with lite wear, as shown in picture. I included a copy of the Z-250 instruction sheet, I copied out of Lionel Prewar Manual.
