Description: Lionel No. 601 Observation Passenger Car, Red/Ivory. The observation car is complete and is in very good condition. The red paint on the body and roof of the car is clean, but there are touch-ups to the red paint. The lettering on the car is very clean. The car has the original plastic window strips, but the strips are partially detached. The car is illuminated. The light has been re-wired and the interior light works. The car has metal trucks with a non-operating early box coupler and nickel journals. The trucks are very clean. Please see my other listings for more pre and postwar toy train items.
