Description: Lionel No. 249E / 265W 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive, Gunmetal Gray. The engine and tender are both complete and are in excellent minus condition. The original gunmetal finish on both pieces are clean, but there are a few minor paint chips. The engine was tested and it runs good. The reverse unit and headlight work. The tender has a whistle. The whistle was tested and it does work. The tender has nickel trim, nickel journals and an early style box coupler. The wheels, axles, and coupler are very clean. Please see my other listings for more pre and post war trains. I will combine purchases to minimize shipping costs and refund the balance.
