Description: Lineman Toys : Bear Walking With Tapping Xylophone - Vintage 1950s/60s Tinplate Toy - NO BOX PLEASE ZOOM IN ON THE PHOTOS FOR MORE DETAIL This was my dad’s toy and I remember him saying that he played with it a lot ! It’s far from new condition but after 60+ years , it appears to be in very good condition Everything seems to be working and fully functional : • Eyes Light Up • Head Moves Side to Side • Both Arms Move Up and Down Striking the Xylophone and Creating Sounds • Both Feet Move and Shuffle PLEASE ZOOM IN ON THE PHOTOS FOR MORE DETAIL The xylophone has one support post missing on the first bar ( the smallest bar ) at the bottom . Also , the support post has been replaced at the top of the third bar . There does not appear to be any dents or dings on the red tin feet . Paint still looks good . There is a tiny Linemar Toys Japan Logo on the side of the right foot . PLEASE ZOOM IN ON THE PHOTOS FOR MORE DETAIL Stitching on the bear’s fur is intact . The fur seems to be in good condition . No rips . No tears . The fur is black with white accents on the ears and face , black nose and red tongue . There is a beige ribbon around the neck . Brown hands . On the bear’s belly , there is a red clasp that secures the xylophone in the play position . When the clasp is turned , the xylophone drops down . PLEASE ZOOM IN ON THE PHOTOS FOR MORE DETAIL Height is approximately 9 1/2 “ tall x 5 “ wide when the xylophone is in the play position The attached control cord is approximately 36 “ long . The battery case is black with a red button and is in very nice condition . No dents or dings but it does have a few minor scratches . The toy requires two “ D “ cell batteries which are not included .
