Description: Up for your consideration is a Charles Lindbergh commemorative plaque. On one side, it has a decorative star inscribed in a circle with wings, underneath which it says “Commemorative First Non-Stop New York to Paris Flight by Capt. Charles A. Lindbergh May 20-21, 1927 Aeronautical Chamber of Commerce of America.” On the other side is an artistic scene of the Spirit of St. Louis plane flying over the world, and the words “Per Aspera Ad Astra.” Plaque is 3.5” long, 2.5” wide, and 3/16” thick. I’m not an expert in commemorative medals/plaques, but it appears to be made of bronze or brass. Since I am not an expert, I make no guarantees related to condition or grade of this piece. Please refer to pictures, and judge the condition for yourself. Thanks for looking!
