Works just as well as a Rycote Softie Grip at 1/5th the price! allows for handheld operation of shotgun microphones, or for boompole mounting with the 3/8"-16 threading at the base of the grip. It offers isolation against many forms of disturbances including handling noise when handheld, stand mounted, or when mounted on a boompole. The mount accommodates microphones with a 0.7 to 1.3" (19 to 34mm) diameter and is designed to fit most hands held condenser and dynamic microphones.
