Description: For sale is a wonderful French faience earthenware platter / plate by Keller & Guerin Saint Clément. Featuring a hand painted cornucopia overflowing with flowers, vines and leave and a decorative, painted scalloped rim. The K & G pattern is called Horn of Abundance, I believe. I am not well versed at faience pottery, but the platter seems to have some age to it. The platter measures 14.25" (36.20 cm) in diameter and stands 1 5/8" in height (approx 4 cm). The platter bears hand painted marks in cobalt, as shown. It is in excellent condition, with no damage or loss that I can find. The colors are vibrant, and the platter is ready for use or display.
