Leica M262 Black w/ 50mm Summicron Rigid F2

Description: Leica M262 with a 50mm summicron rigid F2. The lens was included with my purchase of the camera, and it is not to my taste as it is a vintage lens with a vintage look. It is from the 1950s from what I have read and has a very soft look. It has been cleaned at some point so it is haze free but has tiny pieces of dust still inside; nothing that is visible in the final shots. Very soft wide open, but sharpens up significantly at f5.6. The M262 body is excellent. No scratches on the screen very little to no signs of wear. I purchased it second hand from a film shooter who thought he wanted to get into digital but never did, and I personally never got used to the rangefinder system. I have poor eyesight without glasses and always found it hard to focus. Just a personal reason for selling. I do not have the original charger but it does have the original Leica battery. I purchased an after market charger and have had no issues with it at all. The strap is also included with sale. The color sample shot was taken with the camera and a voigtlander 21mm. The 3 black and white shots are with the 50mm summicron rigid F2. I have determined I need autofocus...I know, first world problems, so I am passing on the camera to the next person eager to get their Leica fix! If you love the rangefinder system, the 262 is the best bang for your buck. Great CMOS image quality even at high ISO, and this body is much light than the 240 bc of the video being removed. With the right lens, it makes a great everyday carry/family cam. I will ship for free via Fed Ex the day after clear payment.
