Description: This is a left-handed, 1989, Fender Japan PBD-57 Precision Bass body with numerous modifications. The bass was originally black, but has been stripped and refinished in Sherwood green. The pickguard has been replaced with a WD music guard: black, with smooth, rounded edges. The bridge has been swapped out with a sturdier version, and the old pickup exchanged for a Reverend P-Blade. The wiring harness is all new, with 500k pots, pushback cloth wire, and a new jack and capacitor. The ceramic pickup and 500k pots means this thing really zings; it makes an excellent rock, metal, or punk bass, especially when played with a pick. There is some slight damage around the neck pocket from the neck being taken on and off, including two cracks in the finish that run perpendicular to the pocket. I hope that I captured any visible damage in the pictures. The bass will ship in a Gator gig bag, with the original pickguard, pickguard screws, bridge, and pickup with harness. Also included is a green Ernie Ball strap that really matches the finish of the bass.
