Description: LEE JANZEN 1998 US OPEN GOLF TROPHY AUTOGRAPHED MATTED/FRAMED PHOTOGRAPH. This auction is for a nice piece of golfing memorabilia; a matted/framed photograph of Pro Golfer Lee Janzen holding his winner’s trophy in his arms. This is from the 1998 United States Open Championship which was the 98th U.S. Open, held June 18–21 at the Lake Course of the Olympic Club in San Francisco, California. Lee Janzen won his second U.S. Open, one stroke ahead of runner-up Payne Stewart. The dark colored frame has a gold-colored interior edge with a double matte of black and gold to match. The frame measures a little under 16” high x 12 ½” wide x 1” thick and weighs a little over 2 pounds. The photograph itself displays at 7 ¼” wide x 9 ½” high with a silver-colored message and autograph, ‘Best Wishes Lee Janzen.’ It is in excellent condition for its age with no chips/cracks/crackling. (SEE IMAGES FOR ITEM DETAILS – any glare is due to photographing the highly reflective glass of the frame). Shipping is $7 within the U.S. only via USPS. The winning bidder agrees to send payment within 5 days of auction. Any questions, E-mail me. Thank you!
