Lecroy DDA-120 1GHz 8GS/s 4 Chan Oscilloscope Disk Drive Analyser CLEAN TESTED

Description: This listing is for one of a quantity of Lecroy oscilloscopes that we're listing. Some, including this one, also have Disk Drive Analysis functions, however that's in addition to being a fully capable multi-channel oscilloscope. I can make a pdf of the full manual available so you know exactly what the capabilities are if you are not familiar with this model. This is the DDA-120 with an 8.3" diagonal color CRT display and 4 channels, and 8GS/s giving a single channel useful bandwidth of 1GHz and over 250 MHz for four channels into 50 Ohms. We have two of these, priced individually with the units looking the same. We've included photos of the 4 channel display and system spec for both units - that shows they are also the same internal configuration. This scope also has the very useful feature of menu-selectable 1 MOhm or 50 Ohm input impedance. This has been tested with a 1 GHz signal generator in single channel and multi channel modes Please see the screen photo of a 252 MHz sine wave into all 4 channels simultaneously. Note that the slight difference in amplitude between channels is due to connecting the same generator into all 4 channels without any impedance matching. The frequency indicated precisely matched the output of the HP signal generator that was used. I've checked all normal functions, including the excellent auto-setup, trigger, horizontal and vertical adjustments and selecting displayed parameters (note the frequency at the bottom of the four traces), plus some less usual ones - artificial persistance simulating an analog scope being one of those. Everything is working as it should. I've included screenshots of the system configuration in hardware and software. I have not tested any optional functions, which may require some work to set them up. The printer works - I've included a sample screen shot made with a sample roll of thermal paper. I could not get the floppy drives on any of this batch of scopes to work with the couple of old discs that I have. It may be my fault, but please assume the drive is not working.
