LEBLANC VITO ALTO SAXOPHONE, CASE - NOT PRETTY, BUT PLAYS TOP TO BOTTOM

This is a former school horn that was retired by the district that owned it. As such, it has taken its share of knocks and is well worn. It does, however, play well from top to bottom, as you can hear in the demo video linked above. I won't say that it is in perfect playing condition, but most players will find it quite acceptable (especially considering its low price point). Please read on for details. I strive to be as accurate and detailed as possible with my description, but please also look carefully at the pictures, and if in doubt, ask questions! This horn is in overall solid physical condition. The body is straight. There are no major dents, but there are a number of dings, pings, and nicks on the bow and bell. The neck is not original, but it is a good fit and works well with this horn. It fits easily into the neck receiver but won't budge once the screw is tightened. It has not been pulled down, and the mouthpiece receiver and tenon are both round. It does have a few minor pings though, and the cork is a bit worn. The keys are all moving freely and rebounding properly when released. The rollers are all turning. The lacquer finish shows moderate wear, and moderate to heavy scratching throughout. There is a school I.D. marking etched on the back of the body, but it isn't too noticeable. The pads are in good condition. They are probably at about mid-life, but they are still soft/supple and sealing well. I won't say that it is in 100% perfect adjustment because a leak light inspection does reveal some minor leaks, but short of doing a full repad, it is about as good as can be expected. This horn comes in its original case. The case is solid and functional. There are some spots where the exterior covering is scuffed away revealing the underlying wood shell. The interior is clean and odor-free. There is no mouthpiece, nor any other accessories included, however I will ship it with a plastic end plug. Please feel free to message me with any questions!
