Description: Lebanon PA 2 1870s Certificates Currier & Ives Fire Fighter & Sons of America. Both are ORIGINAL and are named to the same man, Frank Lowry of Lebanon PA. One is dated 1874 and is for his membership in Washington Camp 65, P.O.S. of A. Patriotic Order Sons of America, Lebanon PA. Pub by the Duval Steam Lith. Co, Philadelphia. Beautiful vibrant red and blue coloring especially on the flags. Several patriotic scenes such as the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Measures 19 X 24" Has some light discoloration from being in an old frame with a wood backing. Has some edge wear and edge tears as seen. Has a 3" tear at the top center but its all in a blank area above the eagle. The other certificate is dated 1878 and is for his membership in the Perseverance Steam Fire Engine & Hose Co No. 1, Lebanon PA. Measures 17 X 23" and also has some light discoloration but is in excellent condition with no tears or anything. This is an ORIGINAL Currier & Ives lithograph and has beautiful and colorful scenes of fire fighting. These have been together for the past 150 years, and I couldnt bear to sell them separately since they're from the same man. Comes as seen, free shipping
