Description: LARGE GERMAN BEER STEIN This is a nice old pottery stein from Germany.It has an embossed design of a raucous outdoor drinking scene complete with a Dachshund looking on.It is beautifully adorned with rings of wheat and hops and surrounding the design.It is brightly colored with a cobalt background.The pottery is a cream color.The stein has a hinged pewter lid with a thumb rest. Please see photos.It is stamped WEST GERMANY with a w over a C in the bottom.It has the number 5 stamped into the bottom.it also has 1-1/2 stamped into the bottom.It is a large stein measuring 14-1/2" tall and it measures 5" diameter at the base.StoreStein Haus DisplayST7
