Description: This is a vintage (probably 1970s) greeting card with artwork by Turkish artist Tulay Olez. Slight relief to the circular portion. Turkish art of illuminated painting based on Antic patterns. Note that what looks like wear or discoloration actually is from lighting glare on the glossy surface of the card. Tiglat Basimevi Istanbul. Printed in Turkey. 6 1/2" x 6 3/4". Acquired about 25 years ago from the estate of a big collector who traveled the world and had some very scarce paper items. Excellent condition except for some light surface wear, some light denting, and a couple of areas where the gold is worn off of the relief. Never used.
