Description: NATURAL GUATEMALAN JADE BEAD NECKLACEThis necklace was made from a large, round and handmade jade bead. The bead was made from a light green "Mint" jade by our friends in El Salvador. We made the macramé here in the States. The chunky bead is not perfectly round, and has an antique look to it. We have 12 of these (6 with green cord, 6 with brown cord) and they were all made from the same jade stone. Jade has been used as a sacred stone for centuries, bringing serenity, wisdom, balance and all things associated with the best of spiritual practices.Beautiful Guatemalan Jadeite comes in a range of colors: whites, greens, blue, browns and even black.The necklace is made from a sturdy waxed cord knotted hundreds of times in a spiral micro macrame.
