Description: LARGE 18½” VINTAGE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN ‘FIGURAL’ TEMPLE JAR #2 You are being offered a Large Vintage Chinese Porcelain Temple Jar with a Foo Dog form Knob on the Top of its Liftoff Lid and it features Large Figural Panels on its Front and Reverse Side containing Imperial Court Scenes executed in Hand Painted Multi-Color Overglaze Enamels in the Famille Rose color palette. There is a Six Character Kaishu Script Qing Dynasty Qianlong Reign Mark (1736-1795) stamped in Red Ink on its Bottom; but we believe it was made during the Early People’s Republic Period, circa 1960-1979. The Temple Jar stands 18½ inches high to the Top of its Lid and it measures 10 inches in diameter at its widest point. Except for signs of wear consistent with its age and use, the Temple Jar is in Very Good Condition, without any chips, cracks, scratches or repairs.
