It's weight is perfectly balanced and feels wonderful in the hand. The handle is particularly striking with its curve and ridges. Lantern Hill pottery hails from Seagrove, North Carolina, and this particular design line was named after the town. Unfortunately, the amazing artist, Kit Vanderwal, passed away in 2019 -- so this may be one of your last chances to own a piece of. his work. No chips, cracks or crazing - whoever owned this never used it and took great care of it.
