Landers, Frary & Clark Universal Thermos Picnic Set

Description: Vintage picnic set contains 2 Universal Landers, Frary & Clark Thermoses along with a metal box for sandwich and snack items. Both thermoses are marked on bottom, style VB-3307. Both are complete with original cork stopper and screw on lid with three nesting cups tucked inside. Both thermoses have dents throughout through years of use. One thermos has significant rust along one side as can be seen in picture. Metal box measures approximately 13 ¼” x 3 ¾” x 3 ¾”, and is in very good condition for its age. Metal box nestles in between thermoses in a handled case ready for travel. Vinyl case is cracking along the top, and on the handles. Vinyl actually cracks off when handling, so it must be handled with care. Interior of case has staining on one side. It looks like it had water damage, and that is what caused the rust on the one thermos. It’s not really noticeable from the outside. This looks to have been a reward, as “ST. LOUIS ZONE BIG LEAGUER WINNER MAY-JUNE 1952” is imprinted on the front of the case. Imprinting is faded, but readable. This is a great vintage item, and would be great for a collector!
