It would be great for cleaning gutters, putting up Holiday lights, cleaning windows, safely getting on and off your roof for painting and other projects. It is built in the USA with durable zinc platted steel construction materials with heavy-duty plastic tips that reach 36 inches tip to tip and have 4 points of stable contact. Fits most aluminum and fiberglass extension ladders with the following clearances: width between the ladder side rails is more than 11 3/4 in.; spacing between rungs is 12 inches on center; depth of ladder rungs that the stand-off will rest on are 2 inches or less. To easily access the roof, the Ladder-Max is placed on the 4th and 5th rungs from the top of an extension ladder, allowing the other rungs of the ladder to extend 36 inches above the roof surface.
