There is light elastic that runs lengthwise and creates a soft ruffle effect. I measured the scarf un-stretched, length 67" including the tassels on the ends and 9" wide, not including the tassels. Very good, very lightly used condition with no rips or tears and all of the tassels are accounted for. Garment has been hand laundered, is clean and smoke free.
