This one is a little older than the new China models, and so the tone has aged and improved somewhat. It comes with a hard case, bow, rosin, and four fine-tuning adjusters installed at the tailpiece. That makes tuning simple and easy for beginners, which increases their satisfaction in learning. This Knilling Summit violin is a proven model used in many rental programs as a staple. It is highly recommended by string instrument instructors for good reasons. The body length is 14", and the overall violin length is 23". The condition is good with everything solid, functional, and adjusted for recital. It has finish wear with multiple touch ups over the years, but they are tonally insignificant repairs. There are some scratches, several nicks that have been touched up, and small dings as shown in the pictures. Otherwise, it is in top condition, and there is nothing to hurt the playability or tone.
