Description: Model KHM926CU. If your 9 speed Kitchenaid hand mixer motor does not work, then consider this one. The motor in this mixer works perfectly. However, the control button on the top to increase the speed is worn out so the motor runs on whatever speed was recently set before the button wore down. Look at your handle and make sure the button controls match mine. A simple fix for your Kitchenaid is to remove or pry off your mixer's handle containing the control buttons. Under the handle there is a plug with 6 pins. You just unplug your handle from your mixer body and then plug your handle into the body of the mixer that is for sale. Now your unworn handle with the buttons will work with my mixer that has a working motor. Very simple fix!!! Please note that there are no attachments included. Probably you still have your attachments. (I would suggest you use a thin plastic pry tool to remove the top plate of your hand mixer before purchasing mine so you can see how easy everything is.)
