Description: Kay Finch Whippet Italian Greyhound Ceramic Dog Figurine White Sitting Calif USA Vintage whippet or Italian greyhound figurine by Kay Finch, I believe designed during her Freeman McFarlin years. The figurine stands approximately 12.75" tall and is approximately 7" from toe to rear and 4.75" across the hips. Off-white in color, with gray-brown detailing. Wonderful detail including dark eyes, nose, lips, chest, hips, chain-style collar, ribs, toes, boy parts, etc. Six felt pads on the bottom. Marked on the bottom:KAY FINCH 836 (the "K" and the "6" are obscured by the pads) CALIF - U.S.A Pre-owned. There is some crazing. In addition, at some point his right ear broke off and was glued back on - it was not a seamless repair, and the glue is obvious.
